    Sería buena idea que al editar un contacto dentro de la aplicación se actualicen los datos en los contactos del teléfono

    [English] It would be a good idea to edit a contact within the application data is updated in phone contacts
    It is a good idea to move contacts from one division to another just by dragging, without having to remove them and register them in the other division

    A:
    1. OrgChart and iOS contact management app do NOT present the people’s information on same meaning – for different purpose, the OrgChart will show the information of a people different ways. For example, you may want to introduce your team to Apple technical team, the description of your team member will be for technical. But if you want to introduce your team to Apple market team, the description may be different on the OrgChart – true information.

    2. The outline view supports to adjust org hierarchy by gestures. Long press and move up/down to change sequence, swift left/right to adjust outline…

  2. Paste a photo from clipboard

    Should be able to copy a contact photo from Safari and paste it straight in.

  3. export opml

    Hi,

    Exporting to mindmap (opml) is very limited as it's only exporting the department name. Is there anyway to export more information, at less in the Mindmap Notes?

    Hello,

    Thanks the idea.

    The data in OPML file is very simple, just to contain ONE text field for one node. There is no way to include more information.

    OPML is a standard format for different app to exchange data. It’s possible to use other format to exchange data IF THE FORMAT IS STANDARD, but unfortunately there is no other standard for mindmap. (there are many other formats defined by the apps, not standard format. the format may be changed out of control)

  4. Embedding Collapsing in the PDF Export

    I have seen other HR tools and inventory tracking tools export their trees into PDF but it was collapsible and expandable by the layers of the tree. I have also seen this with mindmap exporting tools.

    This would make the PDF more useful so you can send it to someone and they can expand or collapse the data.

  7. Many ideas !

    Hi ! I loved this app. I found a lot of apps, softwares and sites that can make Organization Chart, but none was so perfect like OrgChart.

    Adds with contact list is genius !!!

    So, follow ideas:

    1. When we add a contact, only 1 phone is inserted. The most of contacts have more than 1 phone. This way, I have to insert manually the others phones in Custom Field...

    2. I am a Salesman, and I use this app to control and realize a "Account Planning" with my commercial team. I know that I am a specific user, and I have…

    Thanks the ideas, would you please help to check following my comments?

    1. Multiple phone be imported from contacts automatically.
    A:
    OrgChart is majorly designed for the purpose to help draw Organization Chart easily, right now this app is not the app to maintain contact information, and also not part of the CRM. Multiple phones importing is a better to have feature, which is not the target of a organization chart app

    2. Web publish with interaction support
    A:
    If just to share as a static web page, we can just to share it as a PDF page on the web.
    Your idea is not the simple feature, actually it’s a very complicated and may be very expensive service (compare the expectation, like XX$ per user per month).

    Right now, OrgChart is the best app for organization chart drawing, and it’s price is lower much than any other…

  8. Drag and Drop improved and needed

    Please enable drag and drop on iPad and iPhone within the chart itself. While building an elaborate org chart or map, it's extremely cumbersome manipulating the hierarchy or sequence from the left panel.

    Please enable drag and drop without a hotkey on macOS. Or maybe create an option in Preferences? "Drag and Drop with hotkey: On/Off"

  9. incorporate data information into diagrams of organization elements. With the data window separate it is difficult to associate it diagram

    The data elements correspond with organization elements in the diagram. I would like those data elements to display in the org chart itself

    Thank you for the idea.

    OrgChart is designed for the TREE structure only, as the purpose is to help the users be super-efficient to avoid drawing. If the organization chart is a tree structure, the computer (the app) knows how to lay out the departments by the properties you set; if it’s not a tree structure, the computer (even a human) may has no way to lay out them – we have to draw it using drawing app.

  14. Connection with quickplan

    i had seen that orgchart is in the quickplan bundle, but there isn't any interaction. If i would select resources in quickplan i cannot do using orgchart.

    OrgChart and QuickPlan apps are in the “Project Management” app bundle, there is no a “QuickPlan” app bundle.

    About integrating QuickPlan with OrgChart.
    Right now, on the iPad, QuickPlan supports to copy resource from OrgChart, would you please help to check the details at https://quickplan.app/img/features/integration/orgchart-integration.jpg ? (I have attached the image in the reply)

    We are thinking to allow QuickPlan to access OrgChart files directly (QuickPlan and OrgChart are document-based apps, we have no server to store the user-generated data).
