  1. Divide a chart into smaller departmental charts

    I would like to suggest adding a feature that can allow the user to split one department as a new separate chart that can be manipulated and shared independently

  3. Department Border color and weight selection

    In addition to "background" color, I would like to be able to specify the border color for a department. I use different formatting to indicate whether a department (project) is currently funded, awarded but not funded, or is proposed but not awarded yet. Currently, I use fully colored, partially colored and no background for the different types of projects. The text only entries do not display well since they do not have an enclosing box.

  4. Add linking (URL) possibility in note field

    I think it will be great if user can add to note field something like http://www.cnn.con or any othe kind of hyperlink ) in this case I can in future just tap link in note field and get info i want to use with this contact.

    Thanks for the idea. This feature will be helpful, the only issue is how the user to input the link, just typing may be not very good.

  5. Headcount

    Is there any way to show headcount numbers in the boxes f.e. In full view per each unit and each time you collapse a level they add up to the box shown.

  6. Framing a department

    I would like to suggest a framing feature that can border a department to put all employees under it in a better display than the current one available now on the app. I would also like to suggest adding selective additional fields in an entry like for example adding a sub-branch field as it’s needed sometimes in some departments

    This feature is available for the macOS version. We have no a plan to make it available for the iOS version in a short term.

  10. WBS - OBS

    It would be usefull to be able to look at the total delivery (WBS) in light of a a OBS (Organizational Break Down). This could be accomplished to link corrent Org. model with the WBS model (at each node). This will create a 3. breakdown chart. This will be a great advantage for organization with a week matrix / functional organization and see what deliveries each functional unit is suppoed to produce.

  11. Copy paste from one org chart to another

    For the iPad app: I work with external collaborators. I make an org chart for each project, which can each have multiple collaborators. What I’d like to do is have a seperate org chart for each collaborator. I’d then like to be able to copy/paste that into the particular project chart.

    For example. Have seperate files for company A, B and C. One of my projects uses company A and C. I copy/paste from those files into that projects chart. Second project uses company A and B. I copy/paste A and B from their seperate files into that project file.

  12. Automatic resizing of the dimension of one element

    At the moment when there is a long job description I found that very often even using the bigger size available for the nodes of the chart this is not enough to avoid that the job title is cut and I was forced to use in an improper mode the Unit field to gain space in the job title. Is it possible to have an automatic resizing of the nodes basing on the width of the longest text string?

  14. Fix the following issues

    Pls. fix the following issues:
    1) If you drag & drop contacts from the Mac address book to OrgCharts the fields ORGCHART-DEPARTMENT is mapped ADDRESSBOOK-COMPANYNAME thats wrong and annoying
    2) enable drag & drop for CSV-Files from the file system as MACOS ADRESSBOOK deletes custom fields when you import CSV
    3) Enable the "VIEW" icon on every field. If you want to display the phone number, email or custom fields in the org chart it is NOT possible - WHY?

    I had to buy a Tool called SysTools MAC CSV converter because you are not able to import CSV data…

    Thank you for your ideas.

    Our understanding is that you are using OrgChart to manage the contact (or your organization employees) information.

    OrgChart app is now focusing on “drawing the organization chart.” OrgChart is for helping to create the chart very quickly.

    We got the point that many users like to use the app as an information management app (system). We are considering enhancing it via a big release (or a new app).

    1. Drag and drop from contacts
    We will check the issue for “address book-company name.” Thank you much.

    2. CSV
    OrgChart needs the data in a tree structure. And almost all the fields in the OrgChart are configurable (that means we can change the title of the fields and use for other purposes)

  15. Organized view

    Hi, it would be great if its possible to not "stretch" the view if i would like to have the same layout for each container. For example i have some containers which are at the very far end of the chart and they do not have any subjects in them itself. So there is no reason to put them so far away, it just makes the chart very wide which is unnessary. Hope i could somehow explain what i've meant.

  16. Send to other apps and how

    Hello. I trhink would be great to send Orgs to Power Point. Also, maybe it already is but, can I send a complete Folder as images to other apps or by email? So far I just could do it chart by chart even being part of the same mother folder. Thanks.

    [English] It would be a good idea to edit a contact within the application data is updated in phone contacts
    It is a good idea to move contacts from one division to another just by dragging, without having to remove them and register them in the other division

    A:
    1. OrgChart and iOS contact management app do NOT present the people’s information on same meaning – for different purpose, the OrgChart will show the information of a people different ways. For example, you may want to introduce your team to Apple technical team, the description of your team member will be for technical. But if you want to introduce your team to Apple market team, the description may be different on the OrgChart – true information.

    2. The outline view supports to adjust org hierarchy by gestures. Long press and move up/down to change sequence, swift left/right to adjust outline…

  20. Possibility to change the order of the fields and removal of automatic capitalization

    I hope to not be wrong but at the moment there is a fixed order of the field Visualization (Unit, Job Title and Leader). I'd like to be free to decide for example to have the name of the top. I also find extremely annoying that the program is capitalizing automatically the Unit Field with the result that the Unit is capitalized and the name of the Leader remain instead in small letter at the bottom of the 3 available fields. Why don't leave the freedom to the user to decide if the text should be capital or not ?
