Two items
Hello!
I downloaded your application and it's been the best one that I've seen so far. Two items for feedback that I have.
It would be nice if you could attach additional lines from one box to another box to show a direct relationship and a dotted line relationship.
It would be nice if you could drag a box to different areas of the org chart and set of having to delete it and create another one. I've done copy paste as a workaround but dragging around would actually be more of a utility.

Will there be the ability to update the font size and color in future updates?

We don’t plan to develop the function to ask the user to customize (specify) the colors and fonts, well designed color and font are prefer.

Enable tagging
Would be a perfect app if we could tag company employees via a tag and app share capability. Then grant and deny administration capabilities to individuals based on who is allowed to make org chart changes.

How to make this app even better
- Make PDF export center horizontally and vertically on the PDF page
- Make it so that the user can enter a title (chart title) on the page
- Make it so that the user can have bullet point responsibilities for each person (and/or notes) in the org chart show up under that person

Colours great but if you use them to represent a dept, company, etc would be great if you could put a legend on the chart so that when you print it or e-mail it the recipient can understand the coding.
Any chance the chart could either auto-format or allow manual formatting so that larger org structures can use space below smaller org structures so that the overall width of the chart is reduced. This would allow it to be easier to read/understand when printed.
Wrapping text; this is especially for job titles. I know can use large or extra large…

A: It’s possible the app to automatically reduce the space (if there is enough space to use)
- Manually adjusting chart position will cause many other problems, for example when changed other department, the manual work will not be valid, this will confuse the users much
- For a large chart, to automatically reduce space, the calculating will be a big pressure for iOS device3. Wrap text

Layout #5 is unclear for middle positions
For an intermediate manager the fifth layout option places the line to subordinates on the left overlaid with the line descending from the superior. This looks very unclear. It would better to have the subordinate line for this layout to come out of the bottom of position with a dog leg round to enter subordinate positions on the left.

Add functionality to elaborate company legal structure chart
It is almost the same has an .org chart but one would need to have the shareholder % on the lines between parent and subsidiary and ideally a subsidiary could have more than 1 parent

Hello,
Thanks the idea.
OrgChart is for TREE structure only. OrgChart is designed to avoid drawing by simply to set the properties. If the organization chart is not a tree structure, the app (the computer) has no way to know how to layout the department correctly – so for non tree structure, we have to draw it using drawing app.

Resource Cost
Hi!
(1) It should be very uselful if there will be field with the possibility to add resource cost
(2) If there will be also automtic calculation of cost per structure (sum of sub-items) it would be awesome.

- I suppose that your purpose is to estimate the resource cost of your team (of a month, or a year). If for this purpose, I’d like suggest you to try our another app WBS, which is designed to breaking down work and do estimate, you can just treat a people as a work in the app
- OrgChart is designed to create a organization CHART of a tree structure organization with low cost for the user, which is not an information management app (like HR system …), which is for helping drawing organization chart chart easily
- Users like to use OrgChart to maintain information of the people, although which is not designed for it, we will enhance the app to provide more customizable fields (non predefined string columns) for the users to do something specially. (now…

Framing a department
I would like to suggest a framing feature that can border a department to put all employees under it in a better display than the current one available now on the app. I would also like to suggest adding selective additional fields in an entry like for example adding a sub-branch field as it’s needed sometimes in some departments

Add linking (URL) possibility in note field
I think it will be great if user can add to note field something like http://www.cnn.con or any othe kind of hyperlink ) in this case I can in future just tap link in note field and get info i want to use with this contact.

Is there any way to show headcount numbers in the boxes f.e. In full view per each unit and each time you collapse a level they add up to the box shown.

Thanks for contacting us.
OrgChart supports to customize the title of all the department fields, there is no fix definition of the “department”, “position” and “leader” fields which be shown on the chart. You can customize the title of the fields and input the content as what you want.
