  2. Add linking (URL) possibility in note field

    I think it will be great if user can add to note field something like http://www.cnn.con or any othe kind of hyperlink ) in this case I can in future just tap link in note field and get info i want to use with this contact.

  3. Freedom to move boxes around

    Great app! But it will be good if user can have some freedom to select the order and font for the text; ability to move the boxes around, the fixed tree templates are good for small organizations but when you are dealing with larger organizational structures the fixes templates just don't work. Take a look at the "Process Model" app in the Apple Store, you're app will be unbeatable if you can give the user the freedom to move the boxes around like in this one.

    Be able to fit chart to chosen size of paper format. E.g. To fit on just one page of A4 rather than spread over several pages.

    Sería buena idea que al editar un contacto dentro de la aplicación se actualicen los datos en los contactos del teléfono
    Sería buena idea hacer mover los contactos de una división a otra tan solo arrastrándolos, sin tener que eliminarlos y darlos de alta en la otra división

    [English] It would be a good idea to edit a contact within the application data is updated in phone contacts
    It is a good idea to move contacts from one division to another just by dragging, without having to remove them and register them in the other division

    A:
    1. OrgChart and iOS contact management app do NOT present the people’s information on same meaning – for different purpose, the OrgChart will show the information of a people different ways. For example, you may want to introduce your team to Apple technical team, the description of your team member will be for technical. But if you want to introduce your team to Apple market team, the description may be different on the OrgChart – true information.

    2. The outline view supports to adjust org hierarchy by gestures. Long press and move up/down to change sequence, swift left/right to adjust outline…

  6. Influence Mapping Fields

    For those of us mapping org charts for our customers, we would like to be able to have a field in the unit that assist us profiling the customer as :
    Decision Maker
    Influencer
    Technical Decision Maker

    as well as their level of relationship with us, examples:
    Neutral
    In Favor
    Against

  7. Add a Lateral Horizontal Connection on Org Chart

    Love the program, but lacks one simple piece - a lateral connection. Adding that would make this program perfect and fully useful for large complex organizations.

    Thanks much for the idea. It will be helpful to know more details on the concern about font size and color, details suggestion will be welcome.

    We don’t plan to develop the function to ask the user to customize (specify) the colors and fonts, well designed color and font are prefer.

  9. Layout #5 is unclear for middle positions

    For an intermediate manager the fifth layout option places the line to subordinates on the left overlaid with the line descending from the superior. This looks very unclear. It would better to have the subordinate line for this layout to come out of the bottom of position with a dog leg round to enter subordinate positions on the left.

  10. WBS - OBS

    It would be usefull to be able to look at the total delivery (WBS) in light of a a OBS (Organizational Break Down). This could be accomplished to link corrent Org. model with the WBS model (at each node). This will create a 3. breakdown chart. This will be a great advantage for organization with a week matrix / functional organization and see what deliveries each functional unit is suppoed to produce.

  11. Two items

    Hello!

    I downloaded your application and it's been the best one that I've seen so far. Two items for feedback that I have.

    1. It would be nice if you could attach additional lines from one box to another box to show a direct relationship and a dotted line relationship.

    2. It would be nice if you could drag a box to different areas of the org chart and set of having to delete it and create another one. I've done copy paste as a workaround but dragging around would actually be more of a utility.

  20. PDF Export

    I spent the full day working on a very wide org chart. I like the app for the easy approach but I saw a big potential improvement in the PDF export.
    When exporting the chart as a picture it is ok because everything is exported in a single picture.. When exporting as a PDF the current chart, I'd like to have the document exported as a single PDF document even if it could be very wide ... I don't see the point of splitting the PDF in several pages other than for printing it on paper but even in this…
